Speaking earlier, the Learning and Development Manager of OAKonsult Disabilities Outreach, Mrs Omobola Oludele, expressed gratitude to the NTA Zonal Director for the warm reception and the assurance of collaboration.
Oludele explained that OAKonsult Disabilities Outreach was founded by Mrs. Olufunke Adeloye, inspired by the experiences of her late daughter, Oluwatoyitan Adeloye, who lived with health challenges.
According to her, OAKonsult is a faith-based organization that introduces parents and caregivers to the possibility of living purposeful and fulfilling lives while raising children or young people with disabilities.
“We provide practical support to families, churches, and communities to promote an inclusive, gospel-centered approach to disabilities,” she said.
She noted that the courtesy visit was aimed at strengthening ties with NTA Ibadan and seeking media support from the station to expand public awareness of the organization’s initiatives.
“We are here to partner with you and seek your support in sensitizing the public about our activities. We believe in NTA Ibadan’s reach and influence in helping us achieve our mission of supporting individuals with special needs,” she added.
