Dr. Sarafa Agbogun, a forensic Expert and the former Bursar for Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora has joined friends and family to felicitate Senator Dr. Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli on the successful completion of his PhD programme and convocation at the Federal University, Lokoja.
Dr. Agbogun described the completion of his PhD programme in Legislative and Strategic Studies as a milestone achievement which is commendable and inspiring despite the busy schedule of Senator Alli in the legislature.
He described Senator Alli as a visionary leader and go-getter who remains committed to the development and well-being of his constituents.
He prayed for God’s continued guidance and advancement for the distinguished Senator.

Senator Abiodun Alli obtained his LL. B (Hons) from the University of Ibadan in 1986 and was called to the Bar at the Nigeria Law School, Victoria Highland Lagos in 1987.
Senator Dr. Alli also bagged his Masters (LL.M) in 2021 at the premier University of Ibadan.”
Distinguished Senator Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli is a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria representing Oyo South Senatorial District under the All Progressive Congress (APC) since 2023.
He was a Governorship Candidate under the umbrella of Zenith Labour Party in Oyo State in 2019, while he contested as a Deputy Governorship Candidate under the Labour Party of Nigeria in Oyo State in 2015.
Senator Dr. Alli was the Chairman Board of Directors, Odu’a Investment Company Limited between November 2011 and April 2014.
He was Chief of Staff to the Oyo State Governor between May 2005 and May 2007 and Secretary to the Oyo State Government between May 2003 and May 2005.
The distinguished Senator was the Pioneer State Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party between September1998 and September 1999.
Senator Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli served in various committees some of which include, Chairman, Oyo State Government Committee on Development of Tertiary Institutions and Secretary, Oyo State Government Committee on Eradication of Guinea worm between 2003 and 2007 respectively.
Barrister Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli worked as Counsel, R.A Sarumi & Co. Solicitors Advocates & Notary Public, Ibadan, between December 1988 and October 1991 and as Principal Partner, Biodun Alli & Co. Barristers, Solicitors &Real Estate Consultants, Ibadan since 1994.
The High Chief, Senator Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli became the Ekarun Balogun of Ibadanland in 2024. He was honoured as Maye Balogun of IbadanLand in 2022 and as Jagun Balogun of Ibadanland in 2006, the Mogaji Olofiere family, Mapo, Ibadan in 2005 and Akogun of Ibadanland in 2004.
He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Associate Member, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, Nigeria (ACIS), Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Taxation, Nigeria.
