The Balogun Babalaje of Ibadan land Chief Ayo Folorunso has advised the newly installed Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Senator Rashidi Ladoja the Arusa 1 not to deviate from the philosophy and principles which endeared him to the indigene and residents of Ibadan land and its environs.
Speaking in Ibadan, Chief Folorunso popularly known as Ayo Onike said the installation of Oba Senator Ladoja was unique as he is loved by everyone including residents and indigenes who all wanted to be part of the historic occasion of his installation which ushered him into the throne of his forefathers as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan land.
He noted that the new Olubadan is loved and liked by everyone adding that no Ibadan Oba had enjoyed this type of love which was shown by every indigenes and residents of Ibadan stressing that those who could not even walk wished they were carried to the scene of the installation.
Chief Folorunso therefore enjoined the new Olubadan to continue in his attitude and way of life which has portrayed him as a man of truth and justice whom everyone loved and liked besides praying for his peaceful and prosperous reign which see Ibadan land witnessing unprecedented growth and development.
He observed that it would take a long time before Ibadan would have a king who enjoys the popularity and love of Oba Senator Ladoja whom he noted should have been christened Ilufemiloye due to his popularity among everyone.
The Balogun Babalaje stated that the entire traders are solidly behind him apart from praying that he reigns in the atmosphere of peace and mercy of God and good health while the city of Ibadan thrives during his period as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan land.
