Aare (Dr) Adewale gave the Charge in Ibadan while congratulating Nigerians on October 1st, 65th anniversary independence celebration.

According to him, it is high time government at all levels designed and implement new policies that will address the hardship facing the masses adding that the increasing wave of hardship being experienced by the Nigerians  has continued to generate concerns across the nation.

“Calls have been mounting on government at all levels to urgently design and implement new policies that can provide relief and restore hope to millions of struggling citizens.

“The burden of survival has grown heavier for ordinary Nigerians. From skyrocketing food prices, inflation, and rising cost of transportation, to widespread unemployment and the deteriorating value of the naira. Families are finding it increasingly difficult to cope. Many households are cutting down on meals, businesses are folding up, and the once vibrant middle class is gradually being pushed into poverty.

Speaking on the prevailing situation,  Aare (Dr) Adewale who is the Chairman Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited Adamasingba Ibadan, said the average Nigerian is groaning under the weight of this economic hardship.

“The cost of foods has doubled, while living has remained tough. Transport fares have also increased as a result of high fuel prices. We need deliberate government policies that can cushion these effects and restore balance.”

According to him, government must act fast to address the situation, as many families can barely feed, and the situation is worse in rural communities, adding, Policies on food security, subsidized healthcare, and affordable education must be strengthened immediately.”

“As the voices of concern continue to rise, the expectation is that government at all tiers—federal, state, and local—will respond proactively with a comprehensive and inclusive economic policy framework that addresses the immediate pains of citizens while laying a solid foundation for sustainable growth.

While congratulating President Bola Tinubu and other well meaning leaders on the celebration,  Aare (Dr) Adewale used the occasion to congratulate the Olubadan of Ibadan land, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Ladoja on the success of his coronation.
