
Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has emerged as the new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Yilwatda, a professor from Plateau State, was elected unopposed during the party’s ongoing National Executive Council (NEC) meeting at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He was nominated by the Governor of Imo State and Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum, Hope Uzodinma, and his nomination was seconded by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas.
