The General Overseer of Gethsemane Prayer Ministries International, Eleyele, Ibadan, Rev’d (Dr) Moses Aransiola, has empowered members of the church through the Molayo Foundation’s financial support initiative. He urged beneficiaries to utilize the funds wisely to establish sustainable sources of income.

Rev’d Aransiola gave the charge while addressing the beneficiaries after the Sunday service at the ministry’s headquarters, emphasizing the need to invest the support funds into viable businesses that can improve their livelihoods.

The Molayo Foundation was inaugurated in June 2025 as a charitable outreach in celebration of the 70/70/50 birthday and ministry anniversary of Rev’d Dr. Moses Aransiola and Pastor (Mrs) Funmi Aransiola. The initiative was designed to support the less privileged within the ministry.

Explaining the origin of the foundation’s name, Rev’d Aransiola said “Molayo” is a combination of his name Moses and his wife’s name Funmilayo. He reiterated that the foundation’s main objective is to uplift the needy through practical and sustainable financial empowerment.

Encouraging patience among those who have yet to benefit, the cleric assured that additional beneficiaries would soon be included in future phases of the scheme.

“This financial empowerment scheme is meant to help you establish a business that will allow you to support your family,” he explained. “It is not meant for rent or school fees. After six months, each beneficiary will receive a letter requesting a repayment of just N5,000. Those who comply may be eligible for another round of funding after one year, to build on their gains.”

He stressed that business success is key to continued participation in the initiative.

“You must make profit from the money you’re investing. That’s what qualifies you for the next round. Lay the money on the altar before investing it, commit it to God, and you will testify,” he advised.

Rev’d Aransiola while encouraging beneficiaries to back their efforts with prayers, fasting, and confidence said over two million Naira was committed to scheme.

“Anyone who fails to profit from this lacks confidence. You need to believe in yourself,” he said. “A farmer who eats his seed will face starvation. I pray you do not eat this seed or bury it, but sow it and reap a bountiful harvest. In a few years, many of you will be counting your millions, in Jesus’ name.”

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Temitope Afolayan expressed gratitude to the church and the Molayo Foundation Committees.

“We sincerely appreciate this noble gesture. It is encouraging, and we will follow the guidelines laid down by Daddy and Mummy Aransiola. May God bless the Foundation richly,” she said.

Mrs. Afolayan, a member of ECWA Church in Ilorin, Kwara State, said she was nominated for the scheme during the Aransiolas’ birthday celebration in June.
