The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has pronounced apostolic blessings on his spiritual son, Rev’d (Dr.) Moses Aransiola, and his wife, Pastor Funmi Aransiola, as they marked their 70th birthdays and 50 years in ministry.
Speaking on Sunday at the Gethsemane World Prayer Centre, Eleyele, Ibadan, during a special thanksgiving service in honour of the couple, Pastor Adeboye described Rev. Aransiola as a true Christian who discovered and pursued his divine purpose early in life. He charged all Christians to seek and embrace their God-given purpose in order to fulfil destiny.
“In his university days, Rev. Aransiola would lead intense prayer sessions. He is a man of prayer. Whether writing or speaking at conferences, his focus has always been on prayer. Whenever we needed someone to open a major RCCG Congress in prayer—someone God would surely answer—we called on him,” Pastor Adeboye said.
He continued: “Rev. Aransiola is not a jack of all trades. He discovered his purpose early and has followed it with unwavering dedication. That is why God has taken him around the world. I encourage every Christian to find their purpose, remain focused, and God will elevate you just as He has done for him.”
Pastor Adeboye also praised Pastor Funmi Aransiola, describing her as a true partner who supports her husband’s prayer ministry wholeheartedly.
“At 70, you have not even started,” Adeboye declared. “You are stepping into new dimensions. The Lord will back you up. I believe God brought me here today to release apostolic blessings that will usher you into higher grounds in Jesus’ name.”
The RCCG leader also prayed for the congregation and members of the Gethsemane Prayer Ministries International, calling the Aransiolas a family of intercessors raised by God for this generation.
In his goodwill message, Professor Dapo Asaju, Bishop Theologian of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) and former Vice Chancellor of Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, commended Rev. Aransiola for his unwavering commitment to the ministry of prayer.
He likened Aransiola to great men of God raised by divine providence, noting a lineage that includes the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa. “Men like Rev. Aransiola are gifts to this generation. We must celebrate such grace,” he said.
In his response, Rev. (Dr.) Aransiola expressed deep appreciation to Pastor Adeboye for the honour of his presence and the apostolic blessings. He described the gesture as heartwarming and a memorable milestone in his life, family, and ministry.
Climax of the programme was the ministration of popular gospel Minister, Evangelist Dr Bola Aare and tribe of Judah Choir who added colour to the occasion.
