In a statement issued in Ibadan, Aare (Dr) Adewale urged Muslims to celebrate the festival moderately and within their financial capacity. He emphasized the importance of contentment during this festive period, especially in light of the current economic realities affecting many Nigerians.

“As we mark the 2025 Sallah celebration, I congratulate all Muslim faithful in the country and particularly in Oyo State. Though the economy is currently challenging, we are grateful to Almighty Allah for sparing our lives to witness yet another Eid celebration,” he said.

“I encourage everyone to celebrate moderately and within their means. Avoid acts that could lead to trouble. May Almighty Allah bless us all abundantly and grant us a joyful and peaceful celebration,” he added.

Aare (Dr) Adewale, who is also the Chairman of Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited, Adamasingba, encouraged Muslims to show compassion and charity by supporting less privileged members of the community during the Sallah period.

He also used the occasion to advocate for peace and unity across religious and ethnic divides. He called on President Bola Tinubu to make substantial investments in agriculture to help alleviate hunger and improve food security across the country.

Additionally, he commended Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his strides in infrastructural development and urged him to replicate such efforts in the agricultural sector to complement his administration’s developmental goals.

The Aare Musulumi concluded by advising all citizens to remain law-abiding during and after the Sallah celebration.
