The Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and its environs in Ibadan, Oyo State, Dr. Raymond Adeyinka Adewale, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on their remarkable achievements over the past six years of governance.
In a congratulatory statement, Dr. Adewale praised Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration as laudable and progressive, highlighting its impact on the lives of Oyo State residents.
“I congratulate the President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), for his quality leadership, and Governor Seyi Makinde for the remarkable achievements recorded in his six years in office,” he said.
Dr. Adewale described the Makinde administration, which began in 2019, as a period of transformative governance marked by infrastructural development and social reforms that have significantly improved the lives of the people.
He noted that key sectors such as education, agriculture, healthcare, and infrastructure and others have been strengthened under Governor Makinde’s leadership.
“Your tenure has been distinguished by significant strides in multiple sectors, including health, infrastructure, agriculture, education, and security,” Dr. Adewale said. “Your administration has also maintained a relatively peaceful environment, which has fostered economic growth and development.”
He further commended the government’s dedication to the education sector, noting improvements in access and quality.
“In healthcare, your government has enhanced service delivery, especially in primary healthcare and emergency medical services. Furthermore, the implementation of various social welfare programs has provided support to vulnerable and marginalized communities,” he added.
Dr. Adewale also lauded the consistent and timely payment of workers’ salaries and the prompt disbursement of allowances and gratuities to retirees.
“Your commitment to the welfare of civil servants and retirees is evident in the timely payment of salaries and entitlements. This has brought relief to countless families and demonstrated your administration’s compassion and responsibility,” he stated.
Dr. Adewale then urged the people of Oyo State and Nigerians at large to continue supporting the administrations of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Seyi Makinde in their efforts to foster sustainable development.
