A renowned and highly revered gospel music Minister in Nigeria, Evangelist (Dr) Funmi Aragbaiye has charged members of the Nigeria Police Force to rededicate themselves to the service of the nation in order to achieve a secured nation thriving with peace and orderliness citizens.
Dr. Aragbaiye gave the charge during a courtesy visit to the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun at the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in Abuja.

The ever green gospel Minister commended the IGP for his reforms which has repositioned and transformed the Police in the country since he assumed office.
“I want to encourage you as the first line of defense to the citizens to rededicate yourselves to the service of our fathers land, let righteousness be your breastplate, and truth your guiding light. In every patrol, every investigation, every confrontation—you are not alone. God is with you.”
“I want to commend the IGP for his transformative reforms and agenda in the nation’s Police profession since he assumed office. You are indeed a man and leader of impeccable character and sternly qualities, your emmegence as the IGP no doubt has further foster development, transformation and discipline into the police, and I pray God Almighty will continue to strengthen you in Jesus name.
“I believe a morally grounded police force is a powerful force for national transformation, and I will continue to lend my voice, my songs, and my spirit to that cause.”
“You are more than just law enforcers, you are nation-builders, the guardians of peace and order, the first line of defense in times of chaos. In the line of duty, many of you face dangers that the average citizen may never fully comprehend. But let me remind you—God sees you. He watches over you. He knows your labor and your sacrifices and He will reward you.”
Dr. Funmi Aragbaiye, who has for decades used her voice to uplift hearts and her platform to advocate for righteousness, peace, and godliness in governance, was warmly received by IGP Egbetokun and senior members of the Force.
The visit was marked by an air of reverence and appreciation, as officers and staff gathered in anticipation of her words of wisdom. Evangelist Aragbaiye prayed for the Inspector General and his team, asking God for wisdom, protection, and courage.
The Inspector General in his brief welcoming remarks, expressed gratitude for the visit and commended Evangelist Aragbaiye for her tireless contributions to the moral and spiritual awakening of Nigerians through her music and ministry.
“It is not every day that we are visited by someone whose presence alone brings calm and encouragement,” Egbetokun remarked. “We are deeply honored by Evangelist Dr. Aragbaiye’s visit, especially at a time when our officers need moral and spiritual upliftment more than ever.”
