He explained that Nigeria level of football development can be determined by its results against countries playing against its noting that nations which dreaded playing against the country now do so with ease and often beat the nation at will.
The Counsel stated that the results obtained in recent tournaments is enough evidence to show that Nigeria’s fortune has nosedived stressing that the results of our football clubs are sufficient prove to the state of the nation’s development.
Barrister Olanrewaju said that Nigeria football clubs no longer go beyond the preliminaries level of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) tournament including CAF champions league and CAF cup as they are always knocked out of the annual tournaments being dominated by north and South African teams.
