
The Balogun Babalaje of Ibadan land Chief Ayo Folorunso has lauded the honesty and straightforwardness of the Chairman of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board ( JAMB) Professor Isiaka Oloyede.
Prof Oloyede during the week admitted that there were glitches and technical issues leading to the failure of some students after their results were released.
The JAMB boss also announced that over three hundred thousand students would be made to rewrite the JAMB examinations.
Speaking in Ibadan, Chief Folorunso explained that the gesture of Prof Oloyede was exemplary by coming out to admit that his organization inadequacy led to bad results of some students adding that if it were some public officers they would put the blame on the door steps of others while exonerating themselves.
He opined that the JAMB boss was someone worth emulating noting that the students should take what happened in their stride and allow the national examination body to correct the anomaly they have conceded was from them.
Chief Folorunso who urged the students to cooperate with JAMB stressed that Prof Oloyede is an example of a Nigerian who is honest and straightforward pointing out that what he did was very commendable and trustworthy.
