
The Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and Environs in Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital, Aare (Dr) Raymond Adeyinka Adewale has described the Chief Imam of Ibadan land, Sheikh Abdulganiy Abubakry Agbotomokekere as a role model and Islamic leader whose commitment and contributions to Islam and humanity will continue to inspire Muslims in Oyo State, the country and generation to come.

Aare (Dr) Adewale made the submission in Ibadan on the occasion of the 90th birthday anniversary of Sheik Agbotomokekere who is also the Grand Imam of Oyo State, Grand Patron of the League of Imams and Alfas of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States.
Aare (Dr) Adewale while extolling the virtues of the revered cleric, described him as “a spiritual compass, an embodiment of wisdom, and a living symbol of Islamic excellence whose leadership continues to inspire generations.”
He commended the Chief Imam’s lifelong commitment to Islamic propagation, peace building, and moral guidance, noting that his impactful leadership has strengthened the religious fabric of Ibadanland, Oyo State, and the entire Southwest region.
“On this glorious occasion of Baba Imam’s birthday anniversary, I celebrate a father in faith, a beacon of light, and a custodian of righteousness. His Eminence, Sheikh AbdulGaniy Abubakry Agbotomokekere, has not only led us in prayers but has guided us with divine wisdom, humility, and unwavering dedication to Allah’s service, he added.
