The Balogun Babalaje of Ibadan land Chief Ayo Onike has criticized those labeling the appointments made by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu as lopsided as armchair critics.
Speaking in Ibadan, Chief Folorunso fondly called Ayo Onike noted that the critics were uninformed and were merely playing politics.
He stated that President Tinubu appointed those whom he can work with stressing that most key appointments went to the northern part of Nigeria contrary to what they are saying.
Chief Folorunso explained that the President appointments is unlike that of former President Muhammadu Buhari who appointed only Fulanis to key positions adding the criticism of President Tinubu was uncalled for since he is not doing bad regarding appointments.
He noted that the likes of Senator Alli Ndume from Borno South Senatorial district is merely trying to weep up sentiment against President Tinubu in order to portray him in bad light before the north and Nigerians in general since he could not get what he wanted from the President.
The Balogun Babalaje of Ibadan land therefore urged Senator Ndume particularly and his ilks to concentrate on their Senatorial duties rather than heating up the polity with their cry of marginalization of the north in terms of appointments.
