Oladipo chides NFF over late Green Eagles Captain,
The President General of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club Dr Rafiu Oladipo has berated the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for the comments made in the wake of the the revelation that the body is not owing the late Super Eagles Coach Christain Chukwu.
The NFF Secretary General Dr Mohammed Sanusi had in a reply to the son of the former Captain of the Green Eagles said the body is not owing the late Chukwu or any other Coach as stated by him and his son in an interview that went viral sparking condemnation of the body for this action.
The late Chukwu in an interview posited that he and many other Nigeria Coaches were being owed adding that many of the Nigerian Coaches would not come out to request for their money for the fear of being profiling and labeling that will prevent them from getting any more jobs from the body.
However, Coach Fatai Amao declared in an interview that he was being owed as he was not paid throughout his stint as coach in the employment of NFF.
Speaking in Lagos on Tuesday, Dr Oladipo explained that the statement emanating from the NFF is not encouraging and soothing at this time of grief when the nation is mourning the loss of two of her legends including late Christain Chukwu and Charles Bassey.
The President General of the Nigeria Supporters said that such statements from the NFF would discourage our footballers from playing for Nigeria stressing that Nigeria should have a better ways of treating her players instead of what is happening.
He argued that what Nigerians should be hearing is palatable news and statements that will encourage Nigeria players from anywhere to be keen on playing for the national teams and not the news that will portray Nigeria in bad light.
