The heartbreaking news emerged on Thursday, March 27, 2025, confirming that Bisola succumbed to a brief illness while in the United Kingdom.

A respected entrepreneur and philanthropist, Bisola was widely recognized for her influence in Nigeria’s luxury retail industry. She served as the Managing Director of Grandex Nigeria Ltd., a leading FMCG retail and wholesale company founded in 1984. She was also the founder of Florence H. Luxury boutique, where she made a mark in an industry traditionally dominated by men.

Bisola was married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi, an Ibadan-born politician and banking executive. The couple shared three children. In a heartfelt tribute, her husband expressed his grief on social media, writing, “The world has lost a shining star. Bisola was not just my wife; she was my partner in everything. Her spirit will live on in our children.”

Her passing is a profound loss to both her family and the business community.
