Shooting Stars Football Club of Ibadan on Wednesday witnessed several stoppages on their way to Katsina for their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL)  match against Katsina United Football Club as their team bus suffered several break down.
The bus broke down at Gbagan, Owena and Akure in Osun and Ondo states respectively resulting in   the players pushing the bus at some point before it was fixed.
The journey which was supposed to be hitch free saw the players and the technical crew as well as the management team led by ex international Dimeji Lawal having to wait for the bus to be put in order before they could continue the journey to Katsina.
Speaking in a radio program, the Media Officer of the team Tosin Omojola  confirmed the development noting that it is normal with anything mechanical to experience such occurrence and hick up.
He said that this was not abnormal or extra ordinary as any mechanical object can go through such adding that they were on the road to Kaduna as he was responding to calls to his mobile phone.
Omojola added that the players were in high spirits as they were looking forward to the match against Katsina United at the Katsina township stadium.
He posited that there was nothing to be worried about as they were on top of the situation which they had already put behind them stressing that the bus issue should not be magnified or taking out of context since it is something normal about any mechanical object.
