The trio of Babaloja General, Alhaji YK Abass, Mrs Danjuma, Alhaji SA Jimoh and Chief Mrs Titilola Raimi have acknowledged and admonished the peaceful disposition and wisdom displayed by Otunba Seye Famojuro in resolving the age long feud and lingering crisis amongst the Market Leaders in the state.
They described Otunba Famojuro as a bridge builder and a strong pillar who has contributed immensely to the success of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration, just as they bestowed on him, the title of Akogun Oloja General of Oyo State.
The occasion according to them was a milestone success story recorded by Otunba Famojuro following the wisdom he displayed. He was also described as the stabilizer and a workaholic who brokered peace amongst market leaders warring factions in the state
“Big kudos to the convener of the meeting, Hon Taiwo Ige who facilitated the meeting and seeing everyone beaming in smiles. This is not his first time though, his long term relationships with the Market Leaders brings about the desired results.
“The sage himself and ever reliable Otunba Seye Famojuro promised the commitment of Oyo State government to the welfare of the traders through financial empowerment, donation of buses to the 12 Market Clusters, sponsoring traders to holy pilgrimage, Mecca/Jerusalem amongst other incentives.
“This will strengthen and have the traders speaking with one voice and allow peace to reign in the Pacesetter State.
The Convener of the meeting Hon Taiwo Ige (JP), in his vote of thanks appreciated Otunba Seye Famojuro for his intervention and untiring effort to restoring peace amongst the warring Market Leaders factions.
