Olympics boxing coach donates #2.5m gloves to boxers

In fulfilment of his pledge to impact on the lives of boxers and make meaningful and quantifiable efforts to promote and develop boxing in Nigeria and diaspora Audra Olanlehin has presented gloves worth 2.5 million naira to the six south west states of Nigeria.
Olanlehin made symbolic presentation of one of the most useful equipment to the elated General Managers and Directors of Sports at Ilaji Sports Resorts venue of the National Sports Festival (NSF) billed for Abeokuta in May this Zonal Elimination for ball Games at Akanran, Ona Ara Local Government of Oyo, State, Nigeria.
While addressing the coaches and other stakeholders at the Sports resort, the natonal coach to Paris Olympics, Olanlehin who is currently the Southwest Representative of Boxing game reiterated that he will ensure that all basic equipment that will develop boxing at the grassroot level would be provided stressing that he would continue to build the capacity of the coaches in order to ensure that current coaches are exposed to the modern techniques and trending strategies in the world.
Olanlehin who is a member of the world coaching commission also declared his intention and interest to re- contest for the post in order to complete all the laudable projects that he initiated which are yet to be completed.
The forum of southwest General Managers commended his act of magnanimity and his commitments and dedication to uplifting of the boxing in Nigeria.
