The Bishop of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Ayedun Ekiti Diocese, Most Reverend Titus Ilori Omoniyi, has lauded the administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the unprecedented development efforts in the state, particularly the opening up of the Ikole-Ara-Isinbode Road.
Speaking at a forum at Isinbode Ekiti Rt.Rev Omoniyi expressed gratitude to the Governor for prioritizing the rehabilitation of the long-abandoned road, which he noted had been neglected for over six decades.
He described the 19.5-kilometer road project as a historic intervention that would significantly improve the lives of residents, boost economic activities, and facilitate seamless transportation within the region.
“The completion of the Ikole-Ara-Isinbode Road will bring a renewed sense of hope and development to our community. The completion of the road project will open up the area richly endowed in farm produce and forest resources. Governor Oyebanji’s administration has shown great commitment to transforming Ekiti State, and for this, we are immensely grateful,” Dr. Omoniyi stated.
The cleric who is an indigene of Isinbode-Ekiti urged the people of the state to support the government’s developmental initiatives, emphasizing the need for unity and cooperation to achieve sustainable progress.
Dr. Omoniyi also commended Governor Oyebanji’s inclusive leadership style, which he said has been instrumental in fostering growth and addressing long-standing challenges in various communities.
