The Grand Celebration of 30 years anniversary of Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited was indeed a beehive of activities.
The colourful occasion which had friends, families, fans and business associate of the celebrant, Aare (Dr) Raymond Adeyinka Adewale in attendance will forever be etched in the hearts of family and friends, of travel enthusiasts, industry stakeholders, and loyal clients for as long as possible owing to the glamour.
The event was not just a milestone; it was a testament to three decades of dedication, excellence, and transformative contributions of Dr Raymond Adewale to the travel and tours industry in Oyo State, Nigeria and beyond.
The entrance to the Gallani Hotel and Suites was adorned with exquisite decorations that reflected Aryfad Travels’ core values—luxury, adventure, and excellence. A lavish red carpet led guests into the grand ballroom, where a stunning display of golden drapes, crystal chandeliers, and floral arrangements set the tone for an unforgettable day.
By 1 pm, dignitaries, business executives, government officials, travel enthusiasts, staff and members and long-time partners of the company had started arriving. The event’s hosted the Baale of Ekotedo, Elder Dr. Taye Ayorinde, Super star Table tennis lord, Chief Waheed Ekun, who represented Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi as Chairman of the occasion, the chairman of Ibadan North West Local Government Onireke, Ibadan, Alhaji AbdulRahman Olanrewaju Adepoju.
Others are the Chairman, of the Oyo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Alhaji Ademola Babalola and members of his Executive Council, a veteran Radio presenter, Alhaji Gboyega Lawal, the Chief Imam of Ibadan Land, Alhaji Sheikh AndulGaniy Abubakar Agbotomokekere who was represented by Sheikh Prof. (Dr.) Alhaji Abdul Baari Adetunji, Alfa Agba of Ibadan land. The colourful occasion took a sensational twist as the celebrant, Aare (Dr) Raymond Adewale Who was recently installed as Aare Parakoyi of Ekotedo, Ibadan stormed the magnificent hall to officially kick start the program amid pomp and colour.
In his tribute, the NUJ Chairman, Alhaji Ademola Babalola described the Journey of Aryfad Travels in the last 30 years as “A Legacy of Excellence owing to his strides and achievements.
“I want to congratulate Aare (Dr) Raymond Adewale for his dedication and unwavering commitment to the travels and tours industry in the state and Nigeria as a whole, his resilient, hard work, Omoluabi ethos and his act of honesty earned him the popularity, respect and accolades he’s enjoying today. I charge others in the industry to take a clue from him, in order to better the industry.”
The highlight of the evening was the welcome address by the CEO of Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited, Aare (Dr) Raymond Adewale who took the audience down memory lane, recounting how the company started as a small travel agency in Ibadan in 1995 and grew into a global player in the travels and tours industry.
“Thirty years ago, Aryfad Travels was just a vision—an idea born out of a passion for helping people explore the world effortlessly. Today, we have expanded our services beyond ticketing and hotel bookings to visa processing, study-abroad consultations, religious tourism, and corporate travel solutions. This journey would not have been possible without our incredible team, our loyal customers, and our esteemed partners,” he said, his voice filled with gratitude, pride and excitement.
As he spoke, a documentary video played on large LED screens, showcasing Aryfad’s remarkable milestones, from its humble beginnings to becoming a trusted name in the Nigerian travel industry, all of these emphasized the company’s impact.
Aare Dr Adewale personally recognized and appreciated friends and fans during his speech full of warmth and patronizing enthusiasm. A significant part of the day was dedicated to honoring key individuals and partners who played vital roles in Aryfad’s success, as the people enjoyed variety of delicious food and drinks at the lavishly organized party.
The grand celebration had guests treated to sumptuous music supplied by Asiwaju Abioye Oluwatoyin Dada aka Mr Divine.
A mesmerizing cultural dance was performed to entertain the audience and guests at the high class party.
The cutting of the 30th-anniversary cake which was designed in a fantastic shape of a globe took place at the high point of the occasion, it was the segment which had friends, fans and partners dance and celebrated Aryfad boss to high heavens.
