Coach of the Shooting Stars Football Club of Ibadan, Gbenga Ogunbote has asked fans of the team to be patient during the matches of the team in  the second stanza of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Speaking in Ibadan, Ogunbote said “ there is need to appeal to the fans of the team regarding this because we are at a very critical point when we need to be well behaved so that we do not witness points and goals deduction.

He explained that things may not go as planned immediately, hence, the reasons why we need to be calm and realize that things will be better later.

He added tha“ the Supporters do not have problem but the fans who might throw stones or cudgels to referees whose officiating may not be favorable to us during matches should not do so because it may lead us to points and goals deduction “

The former Rangers, Sunshine and Enyimba football Clubs Coach stated that it would not be good to experience the fate which befall Nasarawa United Football Club of Lafia which had three points and three goals deducted from the points and goals garnered from their matches.

He therefore urged them to conduct themselves well and in good manners as violence or self help will not get them or the team anywhere but banishment of the Oluyole Warriors to away ground and points and goals deduction at the end of the day.
