On Saturday, January 18, 2025, the Rotary Club of Olambe successfully carried out a Vocational Service program at Legacy B Motel, located by Mobil Filling Station, Osaro, Akute, Ogun State.
The program, held alongside the Club’s regular meeting, was organized to provide insightful knowledge on vocational paths and personal development to attendees.
The event featured two distinguished facilitators who delivered impactful sessions. They included Rotarian ESV. Modeyin Bayo Kingsley who provided an in-depth exploration of the Facilities Management profession.
His presentation covered critical aspects such as the roles and requirements in the field, the professionals involved, what differentiates Facilities Management from Property Management, and the prospects within the industry.
Also, Rotarian Dr. Olujimi Ogbonyomi engaged the participants with a general overview of the medical profession, shedding light on its importance and diverse opportunities.
The event saw a remarkable turnout of members and guests, including, AG Idris Kolawole Ogunsesan, PAG Niyi Ajao, PP Idemudia Michael, PP Binuyo Kolawole, Rotarian Abiodun Ojo James, Rotaractor Segun Ajao, Prospect Grace Shotunde and other Rotarians and guests of Rotary
The program which commenced at 11:00 am, lasted for an hour, concluding at 12:00 noon. Attendees expressed appreciation for the well-structured and enlightening sessions which came with question and answer , emphasizing the value gained from the facilitators’ expertise.
The Vocational Service program underscored Rotary’s commitment to professional development and community empowerment.
