Renowned Prophet and Presiding Pastor of the Christ Revival Miracle Center ( CREMIC), Prophet P.F Owa has declared that Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State is destined to become Nigeria’s future president.

This proclamation was made during the 10th edition of the Omituntun 2024 Mega Praise and End-of-the-Year Thanksgiving event, held at the Government House Arcade, Agodi, Ibadan.

According to the cleric, God revealed to him that Governor ‘Seyi Makinde will be a Minister of the Federal Republic, President of Nigeria and a pastor.

Prophet Owa, however, did not specify the particular time the vision will come to pass, but affirmed that Governor Seyi Makinde has been destined to become Nigeria’s President

The cleric praised the governor’s integrity, transparency, and visionary leadership, noting that his governance has set a standard for effective leadership in the region

Owa asserted that the people yearn for a leader who will effectively address the challenges facing the nation and bring about positive change.

While addressing the gathering, Governor Makinde reflected on Owa’s prophecy and shared insights into his political journey.

He recalled past revelations about his path that did not materialise until his emergence as governor in 2019.

Similarly, he noted that similar foresight accompanied his bid for a second term, admitting that he had not initially intended to seek reelection but felt compelled to consolidate his achievements from his first term and respond to the wishes of the people of the state.

The governor made it clear that he is not interested in pursuing ministerial or other political positions after his tenure.

He stated that his future in politics will be determined by God and emphasised that he would not lobby for any role that could impede opportunities for younger generations.

“I will not position myself to hinder the future leaders of this nation,” he asserted.

The governor also mentioned that he will be 59 by the end of his tenure, underscoring his commitment to fostering a political environment conducive to youth engagement and leadership.

The event concluded with prayers for the governor’s family, the state, and Nigeria as a whole.

Song ministrations were provided by various gospel artists, creating a vibrant atmosphere of worship and unity.

Government functionaries including the Deputy Governor, Bayo Lawal, Speaker Adebo Ogundoyin, and various commissioners, joined prominent men of God to give thanks and praises to God.
