” This year 2024 saw my band achieved lead role in the music industry, especially in the South West.”

Assessing the music industry in the year ending, Omotunde said the Juju section seemed to be struggling to retain it’s relevance, but thank goodness that it succeeded, in that many musicians want to play Juju music.

The versatile Juju crooner said he plans to release some albums in 2025 that will benefit the society and will also establish himself as leader.

He admonished the federal government to work on policies that will promote the music industry adding that the people who rule the country have not been paying attention to the music industry for necessary policies that will help it stand. ” The government fails to understand that we are employers of labour, we are in the private sector, we are part of small and medium scale enterprise. We have been completely ignored. I urged government to  listen to us and take a step in recognizing our contributions and services to national development.’
