

The newly installed Aare Parakoyi of Ekotedo Community in Ibadan North West Local Government area of Oyo State, Dr. Raymond Adeyinka Adewale has described his new Chieftaincy title as an act of God and a call to serve the people.

Dr. Adewale made the submission during his installation as the Aare Parakoyi of Ekotedo Community by the Baale of Ekotedo, Elder (Dr) Taiye Ayorinde on Friday, December, 13, 2024 at the Baale’s Palace, Ekotedo, Ibadan.


Speaking on the new title, Dr. Adewale who is also the Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and it’s Environs in Ibadan described his installation as an act of God, adding that his Philanthropist gestures paved way the development.

“It’s my nature to care and show concern to people who are in need. I have been doing this for so many years and it has earned me so many titles and accolades. Not only that, I believe in quality leadership and that is what I have been doing.

“I want to encourage rich individual and Philanthropists in our communities to reach out and assist the needy and the helpless people, this will no doubt reduce hardship in the nation.

He said community services which he had embarked upon over the years earned him the new feat, assuring that he would continue to do more to assist the needy.

The Aare Parakoyi thanked the Baale of Ekotedo, Chief (DR) Ayorinde and his chiefs for the honour, assuring that the new position would be used to further reach out the people.
“I thank the Baale and his chiefs for the honour and I want to assure them that I will work more to justify the purpose of the new honour. I will do my best for the advancement of Ekotedo community, because, it is the reason for the Chieftaincy title.
He urged Nigerians to be more patient with the administration of President Bola Tinubu in order to enable him deliver his promises to the people.
Dr Adewale said Nigerians need to exercise more patience and also pray God to help President Bola Tinubu to achieve and deliver dividends of good economy to the people.
“Nigerians need to be patient and pray more for the president in his efforts to address the economic challenges facing the nation. It is true that things are getting tougher on daily basis for the masses since the president assumed office. Hence, the people still need to be patient and pray for divine intervention.”
Speaking earlier during the installation, Dr Ayorinde who is the Chairman, Yoruba Council of elders and BOT Chairman and Founder of Council of Traditional Baales in Ibadan land thanked Dr. Adewale for accepting to serve as the Aare Parakoyi of Ekotedo Community.
He said Dr Adewale’s philanthropist gestures and his unwavering commitment to the well being of the people of his community earned him the Chieftaincy title of Aare Parakoyi of Ekotedo Community.
Baale Ekotedo admonished him to continue to assist the people, praying that God in His mercy will surely bless his good deeds
The ceremony which was held at the Baale’s palace, 105 Ayorinde street, behind Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba had family of Dr Adewale, friends and staff of Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited in attendance.
