Vice President Kashim Shettima has urged the people of Ondo State to re-elect Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, in Saturday’s governorship election in the state.
Senator Shettima gave the charge on Wednesday while addressing a mammoth crowd that thronged the MKO Abiola Democracy Park, Akure, for the grand finale of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship campaign in the state capital ahead of the gubernatorial election.
He assured them that the duo will bring hope, prosperity, unity and ensure the sun continues to shine brighter in the Sunshine State.
Specifically, the VP told the electorate in the state to ensure their votes collectively become their voice, conviction and message to those underestimating the strength and will of the state.
Vice President Kashim Shettima had on arrival proceeded to the Palace of the Paramount Ruler and Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II.
The Vice President was in Akure to lead the grand finale rally in support of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his running mate, Dr. Olayide Adelami, ahead of the Ondo State governorship election on Saturday November 2024.
On the entourage was the National chairman of APC, Alhaji Ganduje,the Ondo State Gov and candidate of APC in Saturday Governorship Election in the State,His Excellency,Hon Lucky Orimisan Ayeidatiwa,his Deputy,Dr Adelami and Akure born Political icon,Hon Barr Olumuyiwa Adu and other APC Leaders at the National and State levels.
At the event,the Frontline support groups of Hon Adu,PGM-ADU GLOBAL stormed the venue in grand style.
In his own remarks, Hon Adu Olumuyiwa urges the good People of Ondo State to vote en mas for Gov Lucky Ayeidatiwa in Saturday Nov 16th Governorship Election in the State, considering his landslide achievement within a short period of 10 months in office.
The National president PGM-ADU GLOBAL, Hon Mrs Kemi Akinola praised Hon Adu for his passionate and kindhearted spirit to reach out to all nooks and crannies of Ondo State ahead Saturday Nov 16th Governorship Election in the State.
Hon Akinola hereby directed her members across the 18 LGs to go out and vote massively for our amiable Governor Orimisan Ayeidatiwa , candidate of APC in the interest of peace and development we are enjoying in Ondo State,she said.
