The Chairman of Shooting Stars Integrity Supporters club, Alhaji Akinade Okediran has implored the Governor of Oyo state Engr Seyi Makinde to assist the body with a bus to enable it perform optimally like its counterparts in Aba, Kano and Enugu.
He observed that Enyimba and Kano Pillars supporters clubs often travel with the teams wherever they are playing in Nigeria noting that the Governor should not bother about how they will fuel the vehicle as they will do from the money they to contribute to travel for away matches.
Alhaji Okediran who is the overall Chairman of Integrity group which include Gate, Ogunpa, Lovers and Bodija Iso Pako where he is also the Chairman of the traders union said the request for a bus is predicted on the need to travel to far distances such as Kano, Aba, Enugu, Maiduguri and other distant cities to cheer Shooting Stars during its away matches in contrast to what obtains now where the club is constrained to carry its activities to nearby cities such as Remo, Akure and Ilorin during Oluyole away matches.
He equally advised the fans and the management of Shooting stars on the need to be patient when the results of match do not go their way adding that this requires calmness and understanding besides being able to be realistic that the team can not win all the time because the referee might be showing bias to the opposing team by favoring them when the home team is doing well in terms of play.
