A call has gone to the people of Ibadan to continue to support and cooperate with the leadership of the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, Ige 1, in order to promote peace and development in the acient city
The call was made by Mogaji Yakub Ahmed of Ayeye community, while congratulating His Royal Majesty, Oba Tajudeen Abimbola Ajibola on his promotion from Otun Balogun to Balogun of Ibadan land.
Mogaji Ahmed who described the new position of Oba Ajibola as well deserving said the promotion will no doubt bring more blessings to Ibadan and his entire community and house hold.
According to him, Oba Ajibola is great father and leader who has always used his position for the peace and advancement of his community, people and Ibadan as a whole.
“We give glory to God Almighty for sparing the life of our father, Oba Ajibola to witness this great occasion of his promotion to Balogun of Ibadan land.
“He is a father and leader with knack for excellence, peace and progress, we his children have continued to learn from his quality leadership which has become our watch word. We pray God Almighty to spare his life to ascend the throne of the Olubadan at the appointed time .”
Mogaji Ahmed urged sons and daughters of the land to continue to work together for the progress of the city in order to achieve a remarkable feat for Ibadan land.
Mogaji Ahmed commended the fatherly role of Oba, High Chief Rashidi Ladoja and many others in the development of the acient City.
