
The Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and Environs in Ibadan the Oyo State Capital, Chief (Dr) Raymond Adeyinka Adewale has congratulated the Olubadan of Ibadan, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, Ige , on the elevation of six Obas and High Chief in the Balogun line.

Dr Adewale in a statement in Ibadan noted that the occasion would no doubt strengthen and foster development in the Chieftaincy system of Ibadan land.
According to him, the ceremony truly reflected the high committment of the Olubadan to the progress and development of the ancient city, urging the people to support the monarch in his quest to bring more developments to the land.
“I wish to congratulate the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin on the success recorded during the elevation of the six Obas and High Chiefs at an elaborate ceremony at the Olubadan palace, Oke Aremo, Ibadan. It is indeed a monumental achievement for the Olubadan and the entire people of the land.”
“I pray that his reign will continue to usher in more peace and progress to the people and the land as a whole. Kabiyesi no doubt is an epitome of peace and unity, because since his ascension to the throne, Ibadan has continued to witness more peace and progress.”
The Aare Musulumi who is also the Chairman, Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited Ibadan, called on sons and daughters of Ibadan land to support and cooperate with the royal father to enable him achieve more success for the people.
The elevated Obas and High Chiefs included, Oba Tajudeen Abimbola Ajibola who was elevation from Otun Balogun to Balogun of Ibadan land, Oba Kolawole Adegbola was promoted from Asipa Balogun to Otun Balogun of Ibadan land, and Oba John Olubunmi Isioye-Dada who moved from Ekerin Balogun to Osi Olubadan of Ibadan land.
Others are, Oba Dauda Abiodun Azeez who rose from Ekarun Balogun to Asia Balogun of Ibadan land, Senior Chief Akeem Bolaji Adewoyin who who rose from Abese Balogun to Ekerin Balogun of Ibadan land and Senior Chief (Senator) Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli who moved from Maye Balogun to Ekarun Balogun of Ibadan land.
