Aryfad boss, Dr. Raymond charges media practitioner on quality disemmination of information
The Chairman, Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited Ibadan, Oyo State, Dr Raymond Adeyinka Adewale has charged media practitioners on quality disemmination of information in order to uphold the integrity of the profession.
Dr. Raymond Adewale gave the charge while playing host to vibrant broadcaster, Funmi Ilesanmi and her team during a visit to his office, Adamasingba area, Ibadan at the weekend.
According to him, the media as the mirror of the society, need to be factual and objective in their report because the people rely on them for information all over the world.
“As much as I commend the media for the unquantified roles they play in the society, I also want to charge them to be objective and factual in their reports because they are the mirror of the society.
“As members of the fourth estate of the realm, they have huge responsibility of shaping the society with credible reports and information that will promote peace and tranquility in the country.”
Dr. Adewale who is the Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and its Environs described the vibrant broadcaster Funmi Ilesanmi as a formidable media practitioner who has contributed immensely to the society through the media profession.
He encouraged her to continue to impact positivity to the society through her good work.
In her response, Funmi Ilesanmi thanked Dr. Raymond for his warm reception adding that the visit was a marketing drive to seek partnership with the travel company.
According to her, Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited is already a
house hold name with great impact in the travel industry.
Ilesanmi, presenter of a popular radio programme, Irawo Ede commended Dr Raymond for his unquantifiable roles in the society, describing him as a model in the travel industry.
