The Lawmaker representing Kajola State Constituency in the 10th Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Musibau Akintola Azeez has described those criticizing him negatively in his constituency as political jobbers and enemies of progress who have no records of his developmental activities in the Assembly and his Constituency.
The legislator who is fondly addressed as “Musiba Action” in a swift reaction to the issues raised against him by his antagonists within his constituency, described them as political enemies and detractors who are bent on destroying his image and personality for their selfish reasons.
According to him, they have no records of his activities in the House of Assembly, hence, they are just doing the “bad belle” stuff against him.
The legislator said he has moved and support many motions aimed at fastracking development to Kajola Constituency, adding that he has records to back his achievements.
“In the last one year of the 10th Oyo State House of Assembly, I have moved several motions aimed at fastracking development to Kajola Constituency. Some of the motions included motion on:
(1) An appeal to Governor Seyi Makinde to consider the reconstruction of Isemi Ile- Ado Awaye 18 killometers road, to boost economic activities of the area”
(2) Musibau Azeez “Action” Seeks Security Measures to Curb Robbery and kidnapping in Kajola and Oyo State as a whole”
(3) Oyo Lawmaker, Musibau Azeez “Action”Urges FG to Complete Rehabilitation of Iseyin–Okeho roads.”
(4) “Oyo Lawmaker Urges Government to create Fire Service Stations across the 33 Local Government in Oyo state , and many others.
Hon. ‘Action’ said he had granted interviews with the media on his programmes and agendas in which he assured the people of Kajola of adequate representation in his on going administration in the 10th Oyo State House of Assembly, saying there is no cause for the alarm.
The lawmakers said, “I don’t understand why some confused and disgruntled elements who are shadow of themselves would gang up against an innocent person like me who has been working assiduously to bring development to his people.
“Those behind the empty lies and fabricated stories being cooked against me are political jobbers and enemies of progress who know next to nothing, and who don’t have good antecedents. They are disgruntled and confused elements who have lost control of what they are called to do.
Hon. Action warned that if the perpetrator who is using some local media to do campaign of calumny against me do not stop the act, I will take appropriate action with such person. Because I believe it is against the ethics of the profession. You cannot say because I did not patronize your local media, then you start fighting me.”
“This is a free world, what is your own contributions to my success or where were you when I was struggling to achieve the feat. Fighting me with your local media will not get you anywhere, rather you should observe the ethics of the profession for your own good.
” In one year of my service as a true representative of the good people of Kajola, they can attest to my laudable programmes and open door policy since I assumed office. I have assured and given them my words, that I will continue to work on programmes that will have direct and positive impact in their lives.
“As for some of them who say” Hon Musibau “Action” has never moved a motion or spoken on the floor of Oyo State House of Assembly for the progress of our constituency since elected, and that the only time we heard him spoke was when he was inciting violence during the last local Government Election and when he doesn’t like the car they gave him at the assembly.”
“I wish to remind them that the records are there to prove them wrong, and I will continue to discharge my duties in line with my electioneering campaign promises to improve the lives of the people I am representing in the state House of Assembly.”
“To put the record straight, Oyo State Government has not given any lawmaker vehicle, go and check the records, and there was never any time that I incited violence during any local government election in the state, except that some conservatives are using you to fabricate the empty stories you are spreading around., the records will always prove you wrong.
