The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin has congratulated the Assembly Clerk, Mrs Yetunde Awe on her retirement.
The Speaker gave the congratulatory message at a special valedictory sitting held in honor of the retired Clerk.
The plenary also featured the swearing-in ceremony for the new Clerk, Mrs. Taiwo Adenike Muraina-Akinola who until then was the deputy clerk of the House
Hon. Ogundoyin described Mrs. Awe as a dedicated civil servant who bowed out after an illustrious 35-year career in the Oyo State Civil service.
The Speaker commended her for exceptional leadership, professionalism and expertise which he said ensured the smooth operation of the House.
Hon. Ogundoyin who said Mrs Awe’s tenure was marked by peace, harmony and productivity admonished her to continue to act in good spirit in her future endeavors.
“I wish her joy, peace, fulfilment, happiness, good health and opportunities as you begin another phase in your life time. I do believe that your good work will continue to speak for you.”
The Speaker equally urged the new Clerk , Mrs Taiwo Akinola to discharge her service with utmost professionalism.
