The Chairman, Saki West Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon. Gbenga Olaleye Akinola has charged Muslim faithfuls in the state and nation as a whole to consecrate their lives to the service of Allah and humanity, as a way of advancing the course of God and mankind.
Hon Akinola in a release by Alhaji Dauda Aderogba, Head of Information Unit, Saki West Local Government admonished Islamic leaders in the local government on the importance of the New Hijirah year, saying it’s a period of self consecration to Allah and the good course of Islam.
In his message, Akinola expressed his wishes for a blessed and prosperous year for the Muslim community. He urged everyone to use the sacred period to offer prayers for the economic improvement of the nation and the continued success of Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State.
Akinola emphasized the importance of unity and devotion during this time, calling on the Muslim faithful to come together in prayer and reflection for the betterment of the local government and the country at large.
“We are at a crucial time when the power of collective prayers and dedication to our faith can make a significant difference. Let us all pray for our nation’s economic stability and for the remarkable progress under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde,” Akinola stated.
He concluded by wishing all Muslims a peaceful and joyous New Hijra Year, filled with blessings and opportunities for growth and success.
