Tears flow freely as the remains of the late Oyo Federal Lawmaker , Hon. Olaide Akinremi was buried in Ibadan,on Friday according to Islamic rites
The lawmaker,who represented Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the green chamber of the National Assembly before his sudden demise, was laid to rest at his Ologuneru residence in Ibadan.
The burial rites which was conducted by the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Abdulganiy Agbotomokekere, was attended by family, friends, political associates, loyalists, among others.
Dignitaries at the burial ceremony included Hon. Stanley Odidiomo, Hon. Abass Agboworin, APC Secretary in the state, Alhaji Tajudeen Olanite, the Publicity Secretary of APC in Oyo State, Olawale Sadare.
The deceased, died in Abuja in the early hours of yesterday(Wednesday) during a brief illness and was airlifted to Ibadan in early hours of Thursday( today)
The late lawmaker Akinremi, an All Progressives Congress, (APC) lawmaker, was elected in 2019 and reelected in 2023, serving the people of his constituency as a second term lawmaker, at the Federal House of Representatives, he was the House of Representative Committee chairman Science Research Institutes.
