Nigerians have reasons to be grateful – Aladekugbe

Nigerians have reasons to be grateful to the Almighty God despite myriads of situations they find themselves.

The Bishop of Ibadan North Anglican Diocese ,the Rt.Rev’d. Williams Oluwarotimi Aladekugbe stated this in a sermon he delivered during the 80th birthday anniversary of Ven.(Dr) Moses Akinyele Akinlawon at the Chapel of Resurrection, University of Ibadan.
In a press release issued and signed by the Ibadan North Diocesan Communicator, Comrade Ayoade Olugbemiga , Bishop Aladekugbe admonished the celebrant as well as the congregation to be grateful to God not minding the present situation at hand .
Drawing his message from Psalm 103 where David said, “bless the Lord’s, o my soul and all that is within me, bless His Holy name.”, the cleric, emphasized on the need to be grateful to God who forgives all our iniquities, heals all our diseases, redeemed us from destruction, crowned us with loving kindness and tender mercies.

“If we continue to appreciate our creator, He is ready and prepared to meet us at the point of our needs as the heart of kings and rulers is in His hand,” he assured.

He charged Nigerians to remain focused on what God has done for us particularly creating us as human beings and not lesser animals or non-living things and our deplorable conditions will be improved as we give God our lifetime .”He will take care of us” , he concluded.

Dignitaries from all walks of life that graced the occasion include; Bishops, Clerics and their wives, foreign nationals, family, friends , children and other well wisher
