This was stated by the Political Head/ Administrator, Aare Latosa LCDA, Hon. Akeem Ayoade while commending swift action of the present administration towards forestalling the break of the contagious disease in the State acknowledging that some States are experiencing the pandemic presently which has led to many death
Ayoade noted that the disease is very contagious as it can be contacted through dirty or contaminated foods or drinks as well as dirty environment
He urged the people of the LCDA and Oyo State in general to comply and adhere strictly with the preventive measures introduced by the State Government in order to avert spread of the disease
The LCDA boss tasked parents to ensure their wards do not buy foods or nylon drinks by the roadside, wash their hands with soap and running or use sanitizer always
He further urged all relevant agencies to rise up to the task and ensure all treatment kits are readily available in all healthcare facilities, in case of any report of incidence
He therefore enjoined all to maintain personal hygiene, clean and healthy environment, within their homes, schools, offices and markets, in order to avert the deadly disease in the LCDA and the State at large.
