It was a beehive of activities on Tuesday at the official Sod-turning ceremony of alternative High School for Girls in Osun State as gospel music Icon Evangelist (Dr) Funmi Aragbaiye thrilled and dazzled the teeming audience including top dignitaries at the occasion with her angelic voice.
Wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the state governor Senator Ademola Adeleke, his wife Mrs Titilola Adeleke, founder of Imole Osun, the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (CFR), and other notable personalities embraced the vibrant singer with excitement and love as she took over the stage for a few minutes, rendering some of her ever green songs.
The mammoth crowd who could not resist the inspiration of her powerful songs echoed the songs along with her to the admiration of the wife of the President, and other guests. Governor Adeleke who also could not resist the powerful songs of Aragbaiye opened the dance floor while others joined him.
Senator Oluremi Tinubu was in Osogbo the state capital to perform the Sod-turning ceremony of the Alternative High School for Girls in Osun State.
There was a palpable buzz in the air as the community eagerly awaited the commissioning of a project by the Wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.
On the other side, the presence of Dr Funmi Aragbaiye at the programme boosted the atmosphere as people came to greet and exchange pleasantries with her.
It was an event marked with grandeur and celebration of a momentous occasion that brought together dignitaries, community leaders and citizens alike, what stole the spotlight that day was not only the inauguration of the project but a mesmerizing performance by the renowned gospel singer, Funmi Aragbaiye.
