
The Chairman, Kajola Local Government area of Oyo State, Honourable ( Alhaji ) Salimonu Adebayo Afolabi ( Borikansunwon ) has rejoiced with Muslim Ummahs in Kajola Local Government area of the state and Nigeria at large as the world celebrates 2024 Eid El-Fitr.
In a message signed by the Local Government’s Head of Information Unit, Comrade Richard Adekunle, the Chairman, on behalf of the entire management enjoined Islamic faithfuls in the council area and beyond to uphold the tenets of the just concluded Ramadan fast by being more faithful, dedicated and steadfast in their religious obligations.
Honourable Afolabi expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for seeing the Muslims through the spiritual journey of the holy month of Ramadan and appealed to everyone to continue to imbibe the invaluable lessons of love, kindness, sacrifice, forgiveness, perseverance, compassion, unity and peace beyond the scared period.
He emphasized the importance of continuing to embrace these virtues through sustained supplications and prayers for the overall progress and development of the nation.
The council boss implored Muslims to be more prayerful and patriotic, as well as emulate the good deeds of Prophet Muhammed which fosters goodwill and inspires hope.
He seized the opportunity offered by the Eid El-Fitr festivities to appeal to the people of Kajola Local Government and the State as a whole to continue supporting the administration of Governor Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde in order to effectively attain the lofty goals of his administration and lift Oyo State to greater heights.
