The Aare Musulumi of Adamasingba and Environs in Ibadan, the Oyo Capital, Dr. Raymond Adeyinka Adewale (AbdulRahman) has enjoined Muslim faithfuls in the country to use the occasion of the Ramadan fast to intercede for the peace, progress and stability of the nation.
Dr. Adewale gave the charge while addressing Journalists on the state of the nation and the need to pray fervently for Allah’s intervention on the nation.
According to him, the nation is going through a very challenging period occasioned by global recession which has undermined economic development of the country, hence, Muslim faithfuls should use the occasion of the Ramadan to pray for the peace and stability of the nation.
“As we embark on the blessed journey of Ramadan, I want to admonish Muslim faithfuls to use the occasion to pray for the wellbeing of the country. Nigeria a blessed country endowed with vast human and natural resources, yet the people wallow in abject poverty.It is high time we seek the face of God over our situation.
“I also want Nigerians as a people to come together to pray for divine leading and direction for President Bola Tinubu in his quest to move the nation forward. The emergence of President Bola Tinubu at this crucial time is an act of God, hence Nigeria should support his efforts to take the nation to the next levels.”
Dr. Adewale who is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aryfad Travels and Tours Limited Ibadan, extended his warmest greetings and heartfelt wishes of this sacred month to all Muslim Ummah, urging them to put their trust in Allah.
“Ramadan is a time of reflection, spiritual rejuvenation, and immense blessings. It serves as a reminder of the values of compassion, empathy, and unity that bind us together as a nation.
