One year election victory: Lawmaker reiterates commitment to improve living standard of constituents

A lawmaker representing Kajola State Constituency in Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Azeez Akintola Musibau (Action) has again reiterated his commitment to improve the living standard of members of his constituency through quality empowerment schemes in his ongoing administration.

Hon Azeez gave the assurance in a chat with Oodua News Newspaper in Ibadan, while expressing gratitude to God over his victory at  the 2023 election which clocked one year, and which also made him member of the 10th Oyo State House of Assembly, saying the people of Kajola will definitely benefit massively from his empowerment schemes.

 He said his victory was made possible by the grace of God and the support of the people of Kajola constituency in 2023, saying his administration would focus more in improving the lots of the people,  including farmers, artisans, students, aged men and women and others.

“It is exactly one year that I won a keenly contested election to represent Kajola constituency in the state House of Assembly. It gladdens my heart to see the  huge support which the people gave me, that is why I said my administration will focus more on improving the lots of the people through quality empowerment schemes in my on going administrations. So help me God.”

The legislator recalled that the massive education scheme which he organized to mark his one hundred days in office was in fulfillment of his promises to people, just as he assured them that more schemes would be organized soon to empower them.

“As much as I appreciate your supports, let me also assure you that plans are ongoing by my administration to strengthen you in many areas. The farmers, artisans, students,market men and women will be adequately taken care of. I just want to urge you to continue to cooperate with my administration in order to achieve more success in office.”

Meanwhile, the legislator has recieved an  ‘Exemplary Leadership Award’ from the management of Oodua Newspaper in recognition of his good leadership, unwavering commitment and quality representation to people of Kajola State Constituency.

Speaking on the development, the editor of the media organization, Comrade Richard Thomas said the lawmaker was honoured with the prestigious award for his outstanding performance in office in the last one year.

He  therefore urged him to continue to contribute to the development of the Assembly, Oyo State and the living standard of the people of Kajola constituency.
