The government of Swaziland now known as Eswatini, has announced its intention to welcome men from neighboring Southern African nations who are interested in becoming citizens of the country citing scarcity of men as reasons for the decision

The country, however exempted Malawi from the nations from which application for the country’s citizenship will be accepted.

A later dated 8th March, 2024 and signed by King Mswati lll the government of the southern African nation with a current population of less than two million stated interested men must marry five wives as condition for granting citizenship while it will pay for the marriage ceremonies and buy houses for successful applicants.

With reference to the King Mswati lll’s, Swaziland King, public declaration that his nation is greatly concerned with the scarcity of men, he is therefore informing the citizens from Southern African Nations to apply for nationality in Swaziland.

1, King Mswati IIl, the King of Swaziland, invite citizens from Southern African Nations to apply for nationality in my land, therefore, here’s the deal, mary at least five wives and you’re assured that my government will pay for the marriage ceremonies and buy houses for you.”

Application forms for this exercise are obtained in all public offices of all Southern African Nations excluding Malawi.

Mswati III, (born April 19, 1968, Manzini, Swaziland), member of the Swazi royal family who became king of Swaziland in 1986. Born to King Sobhuza II and one of his wives, Ntombi Twala, he was given the title of Prince Makhosetive (King of All Nations).12 Jan 2024
