
Oyo State Coordinator for the Forum of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Business Membership Organizations (BMOs) of Nigeria, Ambassador Opeyemi Ayanrinde has disclosed that about 300 persons will benefit from the state government grants.

Ambassador Ayanrinde popularly known as MC Swagger, made the disclosure in Ibadan after a closed door and round table meeting with the Oyo State Commissioner for Trade, Investment, Industry and Cooperatives, Hon. Ademola Ojo and the Consultant to The Oyo State Government, The Ministry of Trade, Investment, Industry and Cooperatives, Mr. Dayo Bello.
“The meeting was a successful one as the Oyo State Government is ready to engage 300 beneficiaries of Oyo State MSMEs members through the Federal Government Grant, to build a better relationship and environment for MSME members across the State.
He said plans are on to organize a capacity building programme to engage and enlighten members in the state on how to promote and empower members through financial strength and loan facilities, saying, “we need to change the idea, experience and orientation of our members to create a better business environment for our people.”
According to him, the monitoring and documentations of the available registered business association’s under MSME forum is very important, and proper data collection.
“Building proper, strong and effective relationship between the Oyo State Government and Oyo MSMEs Forum, we are ready to engage MSMEs Forum Oyo State in Consultancy process and documentations to support members across the State, so as enable members benefit from every opportunity through the Federal Government, State Government and Bank Of Industry (BOI) schemes.
