The Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Adebo Ogundoyin has congratulated the new Asigangan of Igangan in Ibarapa North Local Government area of the state, Oba Rafiu Olaniyi Adeniyi, Ariwoola II on presentation instrument of office by the State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde.
The Speaker in congratulatory message wished the new Oba a peaceful reign.
The new monarch emerged from the Oyiigun Ruling House following the death of Oba Lasisi Olawuyi Adeoye Aribiyan I.
“I felicitate the new Asigangan of Igangan land on this historic occasion. Congratulations to our people in Igangan land, may the reign of the new king usher in more development in the town and its environs.
“Peace is pivotal to the development of any society hence, I will like to appeal to Oba Asigangan to promote peace amongst residents of the town irrespective of tribes. I will like to also appreciate all the ruling houses for this historic feat.”
The Speaker urged the Asigangan to work with all sons and daughters of the ancient town, home and abroad to enhance socio-economic conditions of the people.
