Hosea Agboola (Alleluyah) mourns death of  PDP chieftain in Ibarapa East LG

Former Senate Deputy Chief Whip and Chieftain of the Peoples  Democratic party (PDP) in Oyo State, Senator Hosea Ayoola Agboola (Alleluyah) has described the demise of PDP Chieftain in Ibarapa East Local  Government area of the state, Chief Olayiwola Gabriel Adetoyese popularly known as “Layi Baale” 

as a monumental lost to the party and the state as a whole.

The  Ibarapa political leader died in the early hours of January 31, 2024.

Chief Layi Baale was a former Oyo South PDP Senatorial Chairman, a former SA Political Matters to late Governor Adebayo Alao Akala and the immediate past member of Oyo State Rural Water and Sanitation Agency, RUWASA.

Senator Agboola in a condolence message said he was deeply and terribly saddened by the deaths of the influential political leader.

” It is with a heavy heart that I received the death of Chief Layi Baale PDP leader in Ibarapa East. His  death was a great shock,  distressing, unimaginable and painful to me and to our great party in Ibarapa land.

“God has again shocked us to a state of numbness. When political  figure die, the gaps are felt by people who look up to them. Sad to hear that my great friend and Chieftain has gone to meet with their creator. The  death of Chief Layi Baale was a  personal loss to me  and the PDP family. 

He described Chief Olayiwola Gabriel Adetoyese as a formidable politician who had contributed his quota to the development of Ibarapa land and Oyo State as a whole.

‘He was a man of many parts who played active roles in the progress of the party and the state. I pray God Almighty will give the immediate family and the PDP family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.  May God Almighty grant him eternal rest. I will continue to cherish and treasure the memories we shared together.

“Chief Layi Baale as he was fondly called by the everyone was loved by both old and young because of his simple and free nature. He was a great leader and a master strategist whose wealth of political experience was of great benefit to the party.
