Vibrant gospel singer, Evangelist (Dr.) Bola Are has commiserated the immediate family, Ondo people and Nigerians generally on the sudden passage of Ondo state governor, Barrister Rotimi Akeredolu whose exit has put the country into mourning.
Dr. Bola Are in a statement expressed shock at the sad news and described Barrister Akeredolu as a strong legal icon and politician who spent his time for the advancement of Ondo state, the South West and Nigeria as a whole.
The statement reads in part: “With a heavy heart, I extend
my deepest condolences to the family of Barrister Rotimi Akeredolu, the people of Ondo State, South West governor’s and Nigeria as a whole on the sudden passage of the the late galant governor. As we mourn the untimely passing of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, I pray God Almighty to give the family and the people of Ondo State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
Dr. Bola Are said that the loss of a leader, especially one who has dedicated so much to the service of his people, leaves an indelible void in the hearts of those who knew him and the citizens he served, adding that Governor Akeredolu’s contributions to the development and progress of Ondo State have been significant, and his legacy will undoubtedly endure through the positive changes he initiated.
Dr. Bola Are expressed profound sympathy for the family, friends, and associates of Governor Akeredolu during this difficult time. She prayed that the cherished memories of his leadership and the impact he made on the lives of Ondo State residents bring comfort to them in the midst of sorrow.
According to her, the late governor whose contributions to the development of Ondo state will remain indelible fought had on his health before he finally succumbed to death.
