Christians have been urged to imbibe the virtues of Jesus Christ in order to live peaceful and get the best of this world and hereafter.
The urge was contained in the felicitation message of the Political Head of Aare Latosa LCDA, Honourable Amos Olaolu Akindele to the people on the occasion of this year 2023 Christmas celebration.
Hon. Akndele stated that Jesus Christ lived an impactful and fulfilled life despite his short time on earth, noting that his virtues were indelible.
“what we are celebrating now is the victory he gave us, His virtues are indelible and everlasting, such as peace, love, kindness, endurance, perseverance, to mention a few. This should be which part of our daily routine or character as we celebrate his birth.
“With the economic instability and hardship ravaging the world now, it is high time we re-dedicate and commit ourselves to his path and do according to his teachings so as to have the peace that we deserve.
“I am using this medium to admonish our people to observe his ways so that the essence of his birth will be fulfilled in our lives.
“As 2023 is coming to an end, I want implore us all, to love ourselves, be our brother’s keeper, inculcate the good virtues in our children and make this world peaceful for all in 2024.
