Afijio LG boss lauds Makinde over LG staff welfare

The Executive Chairman, Afijio Local Government, Hon. Sunday Akindele Ojo (SAO) has lauded the Oyo State Governor , ‘ Seyi Makinde for his keen attention to local government staff welfare in terms of prompt salary, timely payment of leave bonus,13th month salary, timely promotion, wage pallatives among others.

Hon Ojo gave the commendation on Wednesday during the Interdenominational prayer of Afijio Local Government and Afijio West LCDA organised by the NULGE executives of the council

The local government boss , ably represented by the Head of Local Government Administration, Alhaja Amdalat Salau further assured all Afijio workers to expect more robust welfare package in year 2024 while he appealed to the staff and good people of his council to always pray for the state governor to make it easy for him to take the state to an enviable heights .

“No Governor recorded all these in Oyo state except Governor Seyi Makinde” the Chairman stated.

In his welcome address, the NULGE Chairman Comrade Sheriff Olayiwola commended the Executive Chairman and the Management team of Afijio Local Government / Afijio West LCDA for their style of leadership and their cooperation so far.

Comrade Sheriff Olayiwola also charged the entire workforce of his council to take care of their health because health is wealth, he reminded them that free health care service is available at Afijio NULGE Clinic.

The NULGE Chairman further seized the opportunity to commiserate with Late Alaafin family and entire Oyo Town indigenes on the demise of our late brother Prince Abdulfatai Adeyemi . “May Allah grant him aljanah fridaus”. Comrade Olayiwola prayed.

The acting Head of Local Government Administration Afijio West LCDA Prince Paul Olawuyi, all Directors, NULGE Executives , staffs of the main council and LCDA were in attendance.
