The Permanent Secretary, Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board, Alhaji Lukman Akinola Muraina has described the demise of the immediate past chairman of the Board Prince Abdulfatai Adebayo Adeyemi as shocking and painful.
The Permanent Secretary in his condolence message made available to Oodua News by the board’s information officer, Banke Adeyemo on behalf of the management of the Board expressed deep sorrow over the demise of the son of late Alaafin of Oyo who was appointed by the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engr Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde during his first term in office as the chairman of Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board.
The Permanent Secretary described Prince Abdulfatai Adebayo Adeyemi as a selfless politician, someone who was passionate about the welfare of members of staff of the Board, retired primary school teachers and local government staff while in office. Noted that prince Abdulfatai Adebayo Adeyemi made positive impact during his tenure as the chairman of the Board.
He therefore prayed that Almighty Allah will grant him Aljanah fridauus and grant the family and Oyo kingdom the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He has since been buried according to Islamic rites while three days prayer will be held on Sunday 10th December,2023 at 10:00am as announced by the family.
