The Conference of Local Government Information Officers (COLGIO) has congratulated the newly elected National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) Secretary, Zone B, Comrade Adeola Adewole, for her well deserved victory as well as other officers that emerged at the just concluded NAWOJ Triennial Delegates Conference held in Abuja recently.

A statement signed by the COLGIO Chairman, Mr. Demola Bello, a copy of which was made available to Oodua News in Ibadan, Oyo State, charged the newly officers to work assidiously for the progress of the union.

The statement prayed to “God to grant all the newly elected officers the wisdom and strength to make their indelible marks towards the development of NAWOJ and the women folks.

“The COLGIO also felicitates the Commissioner for Information, Prince Dotun Oyelade, the management and Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Information Chapel for having one of their committed female members as NAWOJ Secretary, B Zone.” The statement added.
